Riley Paddock


I am a Doctoral Student in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University of Michigan. I am studying Quantum Computing under Dr. Gokul Ravi. I am working on Quantum Control, Machine Learning for Quantum Systems, and Fault Tolerant Quantum Computing.

Previously, I was a student in the College of Creative Studies at UCSB, a member of Dr. Murphy Niu's Quantum Co-Design Lab, and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in the Computer Science Department. In 2024, I was a student participant in the Research in Industrial Projects (RIPS) program hosted at the Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics. In 2023, I was a residential tutor at the Stanford University Mathematics Camp (SuMaC).Â
